Mr. Jörn Helms has been working in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise finance for 14 years. He started his career as a consultant for microfinance downscaling and institution building projects in Eastern Europe working for the German IPC consultancy. In 2005 he moved to China and worked with various banks in the China Development Banks Microfinance Project. In 2008 Mr. Helms joined Bank of Taizhou, a regional bank in Eastern China specialized on small business finance. He currently is Vice President responsible for the banks micro and small lending operation and active in developing the banks green lending profile. Mr. Helms is married and has two sons.
