Climate Mitigation
The Climate Mitigation Journey outlines the business capabilities banks need to build and iterate as they look to align themselves with the Paris goal of 1.5°C global warming and net zero, as part of their commitments under the PRB and/or NZBA. The CMJ aims to introduce a universally accepted end-to-end approach to banking climate mitigation that will enable shared language between banks and other actors of the ecosystem and considers key regional and/or jurisdictional considerations for UNEP FI member banks as they are looking to advance their business competences on the path to net zero.
