UNEP FI convenes three net-zero alliances for investors, banks, and re/insurers. The Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance, the Net-Zero Banking Alliance, and the Net-Zero Insurance Alliance unite actors from across the financial sector committed to achieving net-zero GHG emissions in their portfolios by 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement.

Between 2021 and 2022, UNEP FI’s Training Department along with partners delivered various webinars on UNEP FI’s net-zero alliances to look into the characteristics of each alliance, as well as members’ journey implementing their net-zero commitments.

The webinars are designed for financial professional, including executives of financial entities (risk areas, commercial, product development, capital markets, etc.), institutional investors, insurance companies and representatives of government agencies, regulators and supervisors of the financial market and entrepreneurs interested in exploring this type of financial instruments.
