Asset Management Working Group

Asset managers are directly involved in environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues through responsible investment mandates, and indirectly through investments in asset classes which follow certain environmental regulations, social norms and corporate governance guidelines.

The Asset Management Working Group is a global platform of asset managers that collaborate to understand the various ways ESG issues affect investment value and the evolving techniques for the inclusion of such extra-financial criteria and metrics. This unique alliance of 17 thought-leading institutions, with combined mandates of about USD 3 trillion, aims to mainstream the integration of ESG issues in investment decision-making and ownership practices. Their clients are a spectrum of investor types with diverse portfolio allocations for whom investment decisions are made across a range of asset classes.
